Joanna qualified as a lawyer in 1991 and worked for a law firm for several years before joining the North of England P&I Club as a lawyer in their FD&D department, working in Newcastle upon Tyne and then in Singapore.
Joanna joined Skuld P&I Club in 2017 as Vice President, Claims and was promoted in January 2022 to Head of Defence.
