At BIMCO, we follow the authorities' recommendations and do everything possible to minimize the spread of Covid-19 (coronavirus). This means that we take a number of precautions in our daily lives, which also affect our courses.

Overview

This type of project requires several BIMCO contracts in combination. The seminar offers participants a comprehensive overview of the commercial and contractual issues involved.

Apart from the practical considerations and the important voyage planning that arise in relation to heavy lift cargoes, there are also some very specific and distinct contractual needs in this trade. Course certification

Participants will be given an option of taking a final assessment (1-hour open-book test) at the end of the course, and Certificate of Achievement will be issued with a grade (distinction, merit or pass). Those not taking the assessment will receive a Certificate of Attendance.

BIMCO issues electronic course files as an Adobe PDF file enabling you to make personal notes using a computer or tablet. Please bring a computer or tablet! All documentation and presentations will be in English.
