Customs

Arriving vessels will be boarded by Immigration, Port Health, Customs and Ministry of Agriculture Inspectors upon berthing (if vessel is loading/discharging agri products). In cases where the vessel is berthing on arrival, agency staff are also allowed on board to assist.

Immigration Advice
No passenger and/or supernumerary will be allowed on board and/or to enter the country without valid passport, which must be accompanied by an entry visa issued by the Brazilian Embassy in the bearer's country of origin. No crew holding the seaman's book and/or passport without proper assignment will be allowed on board. Heavy fines will be applied for non compliance and immediate repatriation of the irregular personnel on board and all expenses arisen therefrom will be for the full account of the responsible carrier.
