The shipping industry’s most widely used dry cargo voyage charter party, GENCON, is being revised and updated for the first time in 25 years and will be published later this year. BIMCO is delighted to invite you to a free seminar on the revised GENCON 1994 charter party and wants to hear your opinion on the new form. By sharing your views, you can help BIMCO shape GENCON to meet the needs of the modern world and contemporary business practice. The seminar will be at the Eugenides Foundation in Athens on 5 March, 17:00-19:00. A copy of the GENCON 2020 consultation draft will be sent to everyone who registers for the event. At the seminar some of the team responsible for drafting the new GENCON will introduce the changes that have been made and highlight the benefits of using the new form. If you are involved in dry cargo shipping, this is a unique opportunity to get an insight into the most up to date form of voyage charter party for the trade and give your views and feedback to help the drafting team complete their task.
