Dangerous Cargo Regulations

The port has one specific berth for handling dangerous cargoes. Generally the restricted cargo is oil other cargoes liable to burn easily. The precautions when handling dangerous cargoes is listed below: 1 - There are specific watchmen on watch. Everyone who comes into the warning line will be checked. 2 - It is forbidden to smoke cigarettes, use fire and spotlights and the workers shoes should be without iron nails. 3 - Unauthorised persons are not allowed. 4 - The working person should wear electricity proof clothes and is forbidden to change his clothes in the working area. 5 - All machinery should be equipped with fireproof cover and should be non-explosive. 6- The...
