BIMCO has launched a new website with maritime security guidance to companies and mariners together with other international shipping industry organisations.
BIMCO provides an update on the Maritime Labour Convention, 2006 (MLC, 2006), taking into account of the recent fourth meeting that was held by the MLC's Special Tripartite Committee in April this year.
Jeppe Skovbakke Juhl, Manager of Maritime Safety & Security at BIMCO, talked about the Maritime Single Window, which links to the newly-adopted IMO requirements making the single window for data exchange mandatory in ports around the world from 1 January 2024.
