IMO Maritime Single Windows: BIMCO survey reveals demand for standardised solutions

From 1 January 2024, ports and authorities around the world will need to follow new requirements from the IMO to use a “single window” platform to exchange data electronically. A survey conducted by shipping industry stakeholders including BIMCO has revealed a strong demand for a streamlined, standardised Maritime Single Window (MSW) system.
