What is the new corrosivity test approved by the IMO for solid bulk cargoes?

BIMCO provides the full write-up on the final guidance issued by t he International Maritime Organization (IMO) relating to corrosivity test for use in the International Maritime Solid Bulk Cargoes (IMSBC) Code . This test is used for classify ing solid bulk cargoes that are hazardous when transported in bulk (MHB cargoes) .

IMDG Code Amendment 39-18, 2018 Edition

Providing the significant changes under the Amendment 39-18, 2018 edition to the IMDG Code. Note that the IMDG Code, Amendment 39-18, 2018 edition, published by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) is mandatory from 1 January 2020 and applicable for two years until the next edition of the IMDG Code becomes mandatory from 2022.
