SYNACOMEX 2000 is a grain voyage charter party. It was drafted by the Syndicat National du Commerce Extérieur des Céréales (the French Union of Grain Exporters - SYNACOMEX) and the Comité Central des Armateurs de France (French Shipowners’ association - CCAF), with the assistance of the Chambre Arbitrale Maritime de Paris (Maritime Arbitration Chamber of Paris - CAMP) and the Chambre Syndicale des Courtiers d’Affrètement Maritime et de Vente de Navires de France (the French Shipbrokers’ Association). It has been approved by BIMCO.
The latest edition of this contract is SYNACOMEX 2000.

For the benefit of its members, BIMCO has made a series of agreements with 15 national customs authorities (Belgium, Canada, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, the United Kingdom and the United States)- Customs Co-operation Agreements (CCAs)- as a means of mitigating delays and costs resulting from the discovery of drugs aboard a member vessel.

A call for the consistent application of the Civil Liability Convention (CLC) and Fund Conventions was made when the governing bodies of the International Oil Pollution Compensation (IOPC) Funds met in London on 24 and 25 April. BIMCO was represented as an observer delegation.
