As the International Maritime Organization’s (IMO) Marine Environment Protection Committee (MEPC) meets for its 75th session on 16 to 20 November, regulations on ballast water testing is expected to be adopted.
BIMCO started reporting from 30 September 2020, a series of articles, informing members of what to expect in the revised International Maritime Solid Bulk Cargoes (IMSBC) Code (Amendment 05-19), which will come into force on 1 January 2021. This is the 4th article in the series. Today, BIMCO reports on the re-classification of Group B cargoes in the IMSBC Code.
BIMCO’s liquid cargo database has been updated to reflect amendments to The International Code for the Construction and Equipment of Ships Carrying Dangerous Chemicals in Bulk (IBC Code) and MARPOL Annex II Regulations for the Control of Pollution by Noxious Liquid Substances in Bulk.
