It is widely reported that the cyber threat landscape is worsening for maritime organisations. But how is the threat landscape really developing and what are the most likely scenarios which the industry should be aware of?
Norwegian Maritime Cyber Resilience Centre - NORMA Cyber has been operational for three years and has more than 100 member organisations and 2,500 vessels among them. One of the things they do is to monitor the threat landscape on a day-to-day basis for their members and handle cyber-related incidents.
In this presentation, Managing Director Lars Benjamin Vold will provide an overview of NORMA Cyber's assessment of the maritime cyber threat landscape and how this is likely to develop in the near future.

| Lars was project lead on the establishment of NORMA Cyber and has served as the Managing Director since the centre was established in 2021. He has 10 years’ experience with the Norwegian Armed Forces, most of which was spent in the Norwegian Special Forces. He has a BSc in Finance and has previously worked within areas of security and contingency preparedness, cyber security and digital development. |
