Vanadium ore

According to information available, they are mineral formations containing vanadium and extraction of the element is economically possible by modern methods.  Vanadium is present as an admixture in the following ore minerals: titanomagnetite, magnomagnetite, magnetite, rutile and ilmenite. All types of vanadium ore are complex and contain iron, titanium, uranium, lead, zinc, copper, molybdenum, aluminum, and phosphorus, in addition to vanadium. Used in metal alloys, catalyst, dyes and important in the production of aerospace titanium alloys.
