Due to variable swells and changing seabed conditions a minimum of 1.0m under-keel clearance is mandatory in the entrance channel

and  an allowance of  0.3m under keel clearance is made for berths inside the port.

A minimum of 7m under-keel clearance is allowed for vessels at the CBM & SPM berths due to the berths being in an open sea.
