Harbour

The harbour consists of two separate sections, the Outer Harbour SE of the breakwater and the Inner Harbour at the S end of Laguna de San Pedrito. Outer Harbour is protected from seaward by a 600 m long rubble breakwater. Pemex provides three berths near the breakwater for oil handling, including bunkering operations. One berth can accommodate vessels drawing up to 13.7 m (45'), and two (2) berths of each 170 m in length can accommodate vessels drawing up to 10.4 m (34'). A Naval Wharf projects S from the root of the S oil jetty. Malecon de Cabotaje is a marginal wharf with 320 m berthing face and 5.5 m (18') depth...
