BIMCO’s new standard term sheet for bilateral ship financing transactions, SHIPTERM, will be the focus of two seminars taking place in Singapore on 24 May and Hong Kong on 25 May.
BIMCO has established a subcommittee to work on a global standard contract for the transport and installation of offshore wind turbines. The project has been launched to support the offshore wind industry as the global demand for more renewable sources of energy increases.
The standard term sheet for bilateral ship financing transactions adopted by BIMCO’s Documentary Committee has now been published together with explanatory notes on IDEA. A copy of the term sheet, codenamed SHIPTERM, and explanatory notes are also available .
Work has begun on the revision of BIMCO’s Standard Ship Repair Contract, codenamed REPAIRCON.
