Newbuilding report dated 11 December 2018

The weekly ordering activity reported on the newbuilding front only a few days before 2018 ends, highlights once again the very strong momentum the shipbuilding industry has enjoyed this year, In fact, we expect contracting volumes at the end of 2018 to show an increase of 12% compared to the last year and 65% compared to 2016.

The weekly newbuilding report by Intermodal Research & Valuations feature, include newbuilding prices for dry bulk-, tanker- and gas shipping segments. Additionally, recent newbuilding orders are listed by units, type, size, yard, expected delivery date and price.
