The new edition of BIMCO's popular ship management contract SHIPMAN is out. SHIPMAN 2024 is the culmination of a thorough, two-year review process by a team of experts within the ship management sector who have taken into account changes in ship management practices since the contract was last revised in 2009 and included a significant number of freestanding BIMCO clauses that are typically added as riders to SHIPMAN 2009.
In just one hour, three representatives of the drafting team which developed SHIPMAN 2024 will highlight what they consider to be the main changes in the new edition and why the market should consider using it. Part of this presentation will concern the new ETS Allowances Clause which has been included in SHIPMAN 2024 and developed as a freestanding version for bolt-on use with SHIPMAN 2009. A short Q&A session will be held at the end, enabling you to ask specific questions on the new form.
