The International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) Code, an important mandatory code for the shipment of dangerous packaged goods by sea, will be entering into its 41st amendment on 1 January 2024.
BIMCO provides a summary of the significant changes brought about by Amendment 41-22 to the International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) Code.

Bauxite cargoes are problematic cargoes capable of experiencing severe liquefaction which unknown at that time, was actually dynamic separation, a phenomenon discovered based on the outcome of the work of the Global Bauxite Working Group.
