Security Advisories

On 23 March 2015 the United States Coast Guard (USCG) issued Port Security Advisory (PSA) 1-15 concerning the modification of conditions of entry on ships arriving from ports not maintaining effective anti-terrorism measures.

Specifically, the USCG determined that Ash Shihr Terminal and Port of Hodeidah are no longer maintaining effective anti-terrorism measures. The previous exceptions for these ports (PSA 1-12) from the actions required in Paragraph C. of PSA 1-15 be rescinded.  Therefore ships that arrive in the United States on or after 8 April 2015 after visiting non-excepted ports in Yemen as one of the their last five ports of call are to follow the required actions as listed in paragraphs C and D of PSA 1-15.
