Case vessels proceeding from other Brazilian port all documents must visaed together with passes of Customs/Immigration/Harbour Master and Health Maritime.

Note:
Maritime Helath Declaration must be presented in duplicate.


Important:
Port Captaincy of Tramandai requires from Captains plus Officers the Ratings' Certificate as per International convention on Standards of Trainings, Certifications and Watchkeeping for Seafarers 1978. (STCW 78)


Documents which have to be submitted to the boarding officers as follows:
Crew List, spare parts, provisions, personal effects, stores, cargo manifests, Bs/l (Customs),
Crew List, passenger or negative, narcotics/drugs, arms/ammunition (Immigration),
Crew List, narcotics, vaccination (Health)
Crew List, passenger or negative (Harbour Master whom is to clear the vessel for the next port of call, also request to be present by Agents, the clearance papers issued by other authorities: Customs, Immigration and Health).


Supplies, stores, cigarettes, cigars, tobacco, alcholic beverages, arms, ammunitions, souvenirs, playing cards, drugs/narcotics, medicines (not in use), etc... must be kept under lock and key; the doors of the storage rooms will be sealed by the Customs officials and the seal must be kept intact throughout the vessel's stay in port. Any goods omitted from the list may be confiscated.


Extracts of Sea Protest drawn out from the log book must be submitted to the boarding Custom officer in case of accident.


Masters must appoint their ship's Agent at Porto Alegre and have their international Safety Certificates in force. It is also necessary for vessels leaving the following passes:
- From Customs
- From Health Authority (Free Pratique)
- From Immigration
- From Harbour Master


Immigration does not allow crew ashore, except for illness or other serious reasons. Crew changes are possible provided arrangements are made in advance and new crew should be at Tramandai prior to vessels arrival. New crew will then join vessel together with Agent + Authority to save time and costs. All incoming crew members must be received at Porto Alegre (International Airport) and transported by car to Tramandai city.


Sanitary Rules now-a-days:
In order follow sanitary health instructions Masters must advise the agents prior arrival the following:
- There is sewage tank onboard (or retention one) and volume of it ?
- How is the sewage tank treatment ? with chlorine ?
- Sanitary treatment onboard and if so how does it done ?
- Ballast water volume capacity/quantity upon arrival Tramandai ?
- Fresh water volume capacity/quantity upon arrival Tramandai ?


Please pay special attention to the following facts:
- Sewage/retention tank(s) must arrive Tramandai duly sealed
- Toilets vase sanitary valves should be in good working conditions
- Garbage must have food and other residues placed into plastic bags
- Vessel must arrive Tramandai with yellow flag hoisted
- In case presence of roaches found then desinsetization is compulsory
- In case medicines onboard are expired, same will be collected by sanitary officer and vessel willbe fined.
- Vessel must present upon clearance a " Sheet control of drinking water supplies of the vessel " (The last 3 supplies) also " Sheet control of cleaning and desinfection of the drinking water system of the vessel "
(every six months).
- All tranquillizers medicines must be listed to authority
