Olivia works closely with the Analyst, Research and Development departments of VesselsValue helping to expand the number of vessel types covered and the development and maintenance of new and existing products. Based in London, Olivia is in the middle of market information and intelligence, analysing the S&P, NB and demolition market for Bulkers, Tankers, Containers and Gas.  Prior to joining VesselsValue as a Cargo analyst, Olivia attended Southampton University graduating with a BSc in Oceanography.

The information in the liquid cargo database aims at providing an easy to use guidance and reference tool, primarily for shore-side staff and for newcomers on board tankers, supplementing the relevant Conventions, Codes and supplementary guidance published by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and is intended for use solely as a reference tool providing general information relating to the most commonly transported liquid cargoes.

CIMAC guideline: marine fuel handling in connection to stability and compatibility

This guideline helps the reader understand stability and compatibility issues. Furthermore, it explains the different test methods, both for onboard evaluation and for tests performed in laboratories. It compliments and expands on the information given in ISO/PAS 23263:2019 and supports the ISO standard 8217:2017 on specifications of marine fuels.
