The BIMCO Shipping KPI monitors performance on more than 6400 vessels in the shipping industry. Therefore, the default benchmarking criteria is the entire pool of vessels. Naturally, you would want to narrow the benchmarking criteria to sectors that share similarities with your vessels. This is done in four simple steps as illustrated below:
Select "Benchmark" in the top menu
Select any pool at the bottom of the screen
Select your criteria using any of the default filters or apply a customised filter – circled in red below
Click “update filter” and apply the criteria you want to compare with in the other pool, following the same steps as mentioned above
