BIMCO Shipping KPI has a succesful 2018.
We are approaching the end of the year and BIMCO Shipping KPI has a great 2018 with many achievements. During the year, BIMCO held 10 Shipping KPI launch events worldwide with more than 300 attendees. These launch events presented the changes and updates of the Shipping KPI system along with 23 inhouse presentations for interested companies.
In April, the BIMCO Shipping KPI system activated version 3.0 for Shipping KPI standard including updates for definitions, PI measuring period, KPI calculation period and ship attributes. Due to the changes in definitions between old and new KPI standard version, there are some enquiries from customers, but the Shipping KPI support team successfully handled them. Not only that, the BIMCO Shipping KPI system updated privacy policy and terms of use to accommodate the EU General Data Protection.
At the end of July, there were more than 6,000 ships in the Shipping KPI database which took the Shipping KPI system to a remarkable milestone. BIMCO Shipping KPI always strives for the best, with the hope to bring the best user experiences for its users and we look forward to achieving new milestones in the near future.
