New feature on BIMCO Shipping KPI will be launched soon.
Shipping KPI monthly news November 2017
BIMCO Shipping KPI will shortly be implementing a new feature that means you will already be signed in to the KPI system when you log on to www.bimco.org. This feature marks an official merger of the BIMCO homepage and BIMCO Shipping KPI website – something that BIMCO members have been asking for - the main users of the Shipping KPI system.
When this feature is launched, BIMCO members who already have a Shipping KPI account will be logged in automatically to the site when they are on the BIMCO homepage. However, anyone signing in via the Shipping KPI website, will be automatically redirected to the BIMCO homepage. In the future, there will be more features added to support BIMCO members in the registration process.
Monthly random shipping KPI – KPI011
KPI011: Environmental deficiencies
This KPI expresses the company’s environmental performance by measuring environmental-related deficiencies recorded during external inspections and audits.
The KPI counts the number of environment-related deficiencies - including any substandard act, practice or condition of an environmental consequence (local regulations and MARPOL) such as failure in the oily water separator, recorded during external inspections and audits. The number of deficiencies are expressed relative to the total number of external inspections and audits.
KPI011 is measured in 'deficiencies/inspection'.
