Meet BIMCO's Chief Shipping Analyst in New York City and Montreal


BIMCO’s Chief Shipping Analyst will be participating at the INTERCEM Shipping Americas in New York City, USA, which will take place on 20 May 2019, and the Shipping Federation of Canada’s Annual Conference on 22 May 2019 in Montreal, Canada.

On 20 May 2019, Peter Sand will first discuss the issues that matter to the dry bulk shipping market before taking part in a panel on the dry bulk market which will discuss current freight rates, future prospects and upcoming regulations. Other panellists will be Daniel Schildt, vice president of dry cargo chartering at MT Maritime Management and Manny Xidias, President of IFCHOR.

INTERCEM Shipping Americas will be held at the Stewart Hotel in New York City, USA between 20 May and 21 May 2019.

On 22 May 2019 in Montreal, Peter Sand will open the 22nd annual conference of the Shipping Federation of Canada. He will illuminate the shipping industry with spotlight on three cargo sectors dry bulk, liquid bulk and container. This will cover freight rates, the outlook for demand and supply growth as well as the risk factors affecting these three shipping markets.

The annual conference will be held at Centre Mont-Royal in Montreal, Canada on 22 May 2019.
