Meet BIMCO’S Chief Shipping Analyst in London and Frankfurt


BIMCO’s chief shipping analyst will be participating at Bloomberg Intelligence shipping seminar in London on 12 November and Frankfurt on 13 November.


On 12 November in London Peter Sand will take part in a roundtable on the Dry Bulk Shipping Outlook scheduled for 15:30.

The moderator will be Lee Klaskow, senior analyst at Bloomberg Intelligence, and Peter Sand will also be joined by Court Smith, senior analyst at Vessels Value and Will Fray, director at Maritime Strategies International.

On 13 November in Frankfurt, Peter Sand will share his insight on the IMO 2020 sulphur cap at 15:00. This session is entitled “Costly Risk or an Opportunity in Distress?”.

Moreover, Peter Sand will give a brief presentation on the commercial implications of the IMO 2020 sulphur cap, before joining a roundtable on the topic.

The second session will be moderated by Rahul Kapoor, senior analyst at Bloomberg Intelligence, and will also include Tim Power, managing director at Drewry, Alexander Duff, head of tanker research at Howe Robinson, Court Smith, senior analyst at Vessels Value and Adam Kent, managing director at Maritime Strategies International.
