Eni joins project to develop ASV charter party
Overview
Italian energy company Eni, operating in more than 60 countries worldwide and employing more than 30,000 people, will be joining the recently launched BIMCO project to develop a standard charter party for Accommodation Support Vessels (ASVs).
Drafting work is taking place on the basis of SUPPLYTIME 2017, BIMCO’s time charter party for offshore support vessels, and is aimed at developing a dedicated standard specifically for ASVs, including floating hotels and walk to work vessels.
Representatives from A2Sea, Floatel International, North Sea Shipbrokers, Noord Nederlandsche P&I Club and Ørsted are also part of the project.
