Overview
BIMCO will run a free webinar on the contract GUARDCON and End User Certification (EUCs) on Friday 9 December 2016 at 11:30 CET.
A small minority of private maritime security companies are known to be using weapons “rented” or “borrowed” from other security companies. This is an illegal practice because the weapons are not legitimately licenced to the end user.
In this webinar we will explain the importance to owners of verifying the legitimacy of all permits and licences provided by the contractors as part of their due diligence process and will discuss a simple check list to follow.
