Overview

BIMCO explains the carriage requirements of UN 3077 environmentally hazardous solid bulk cargoes under the International Maritime Solid Bulk Cargoes ( IMSBC) Code.

Can you find a cargo schedule in the IMSBC Code that carries the UN no. 3077?   No, you cannot and yet members come to us with enquiries on such cargoes. VPS Bunker Alerts

Veritas Petroleum Services (VPS) publish regular Bunker Alerts based entirely on fuel samples and have kindly permitted BIMCO’s Members to access this information.

The Bunker Alerts are not intended to be an evaluation of overall bunker quality in the port or area concerned, but usually highlight a specific parameter within the fuel which has raised a quality issue.
