New solid bulk cargoes added to list for exemption from having a fixed fire-extinguishing system in the cargo spaces. See revised IMO circular.

The said list now includes the following new exempted cargoes, which are new cargoes incorporated into Amendment 03-15 to the International Maritime Solid Bulk Cargoes ( IMSBC) Code:

  1. Amorphous sodium silicate lumps
  2. Boric acid
  3. Clinker ash
  4. Monocalciumphosphate (MCP)
  5. Monoammonium phosphate (M.A.P), mineral enriched coating
