Monoammonium phosphate (MAP)

Description
Processed fertiliser made for use on grain and oilseed crops. Odourless or with slight ammonia/pungent odour. Very dusty and hygroscopic in nature (i.e., taking and retaining moisture quickly). Comes in the form of brownish-grey granules. Other uses: flameproofing agent, manufacturing of yeast, vinegar, yeast foods and bread improvers. Bulk density: 826 -1,000 kg/m3.

MAP- ammonium acid phosphate-ammonium biphosphate - ammonium dihydrogen phosphate - ammonium phosphate, primary - ammonium phosphate, monobasic.
