Dark greyish heavy ore concentrates or lumps of natural oxide of ferrous iron and chromium (sometimes also with presence of magnesium and aluminium). Used as commercial source of chromium and its compounds. Also used in metallurgy and in chemical, refractory and casting industries. Bulk density (kg/m3): 2,222 to 3,030
