Ammonium sulphate

White to brownish grey crystals depending on purity level. Has ammonia odour. Moisture content: 0.04% to 0.05%. Soluble in water. Free flowing. Absorbs moisture, therefore liable to cake. Tends to have natural loss in weight. Used as chemical fertilisers, fermentation, fireproofing compositions, tanning, food additive and in the plastic industry.

Ammonium sulfate - diammonium sulfate - sulfuric acid, diammonium salt - sulphate of Ammonia - standard or granular ammonium sulfate.
