Sugarcane biomass pellets

Description

Made from bagasse, straw and leaves left over from industrial and agricultural activities. The raw material is fragmented, dried and extruded into pellet form, then compressed to approximately one-third of its original volume. Very hard and not easily squashed. Colour: light blonde to chocolate brown. Moisture content: 6-10%. No additives or binders blended into the pellets normally. This schedule applies also to cargoes that are produced with the use of up to 2% of oxide-based mineral additives such as calcium, magnesium and aluminium oxides. Uses: fuel in district heating, electrical power generation, small space heaters such as stoves and fireplaces and animal bedding ( due to their absorption characteristics). Bulk density: 600 - 700 kg/m 3
